On the evening of December 13 in Florence, more precisely at the cenacle of Santa Croce, there was a celebration for the 160th anniversary of La Nazione.

During the night the director Agnese Pini that introduced the evening, Federico Ignesti mayor of Scarperia and San Piero, and Don Stefano Ulivi pastor of Barberino took part.

During the evening awards were given to associations and individuals who in the course of 2019 stood out for their commitment in the sectors of civil society such as the Clacit, Mirco Ungaretti onlus of Lucca, Croce Rossa of La Spezia with the president Luigi De Angelis , the provincial command of the firemen of Florence, the Istituto Serafico of Assisi with the director Francesca di Maolo, Pippo Zeffirelli and Irene Sanesi.

The night ended with the concert of the Pueri Cantores, the choir of the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. At the end of the repertoire the director Agnese Pini and editor-in-chief Diego Casali called Gabriele Cané and Giovanni Morandi, editors of Poligrafici Editoriale: Qn, Il Resto del Carllino, La Nazione, il Giorno for a greeting on stage.
